The Northwest Peace FASD Network strives to address FASD needs across the lifespan without age barriers, identify gaps in services and provide sustainable solutions, and build on existing capacity to address identified needs.
In order to accomplish these goals, the Northwest Peace Critique Team has evaluated the proposals received for the RFP-01-2019-21 FASD Supports and Services call for proposals issued on January 18th, 2019. This is a 2 year-contract for the period of April 1st, 2019- March 31st, 2021.
The Team has awarded funding to the following agencies for the next two years:
Grande Prairie Family Education Society (Grande Prairie) two positions: One Parent Child Assistant Mentor, One FASD Supports Worker.
Aseniwuche Winewak Nation of Canada (Grande Cache) two positions: One Parent Child Assistant Mentor, One FASD Supports.
W.J. Stelmaschuk and Associates Ltd. (Peace River) two positions: One Parent Child Assistant Mentor, One FASD Supports worker.
Whitefish Lake First Nation #459 (Atikameg) One First Nation Parent Child Assistant Mentor.
Driftpile Cree Nation (Driftpile) One First Nation Parent Child Assistant Mentor.
