A Heartfelt Thank You for an Incredible FASD Awareness Day 2025! 💜
On behalf of the Northwest Peace FASD Network and our entire team, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who made our FASD Awareness Day event on September 9, 2025, a truly remarkable success. Your support, participation, and enthusiasm brought a vibrant energy to the day, and we couldn’t be more thankful for the collective effort that made it all come together so beautifully.
We are especially grateful to the dedicated agencies, board members, esteemed dignitaries, and the many members of the public who walked with us and stood in solidarity. You helped create an atmosphere that not only reflected the strength and compassion of our community, but also highlighted the importance of raising awareness for Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD).
To the participants, thank you for your presence and your unwavering support. To the Mayor, speakers, and organizations who took the time to share their voices and expertise — you made an impact that will be felt long after the event. A special shout-out goes to our amazing sponsors, partners, and volunteers for your tireless efforts in making this day possible:
- Flip Entertainment, thank you for bringing the energy and fun that kept everyone engaged and excited.
- Orange Theory Fitness, your fantastic warm-up session set the tone for the Awareness Walk and got us moving with purpose.
- New Horizon Co-op, your generous donation of delicious donuts kept our spirits high and our bellies happy!
- The Elks Hall, thank you for providing such a welcoming space for all of us to come together.
- Our FASD Awareness Planning Committee, we couldn’t have done it without your dedication, vision, and hard work. You are the heart of this event!
Above all, the true essence of the day was about connection, community, and breaking the stigma around FASD. It was a day filled with laughter, conversations, learning, and most importantly, heart. We saw the incredible power of what happens when a community comes together to support one another, and Grande Prairie, you truly showed up in a big way!
As we reflect on this amazing day, we are filled with gratitude for the lasting impact each of you has made. Your contributions — whether through attendance, advocacy, or encouragement — are what fuel our ongoing work within the community. We are excited to continue this important journey with all of you, united in our commitment to raising awareness and supporting those affected by FASD.
Thank you once again for helping us shine a light on FASD. We look forward to the continued growth and solidarity of our community as we work together to make a positive difference.
Together, we are stronger. Together, we are making a change. 💜🌟
