Prevention Starts with Education

Northwest Peace FASD Network offers FREE prevention presentations for organizations, community groups, workplaces, and service providers focused on the unseen impact of alcohol and other teratogens on fetal development.

These presentations provide an overview of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), including: • What FASD is and how it impacts brain development

• Primary disabilities, strengths, and challenges of individuals with FASD

• How alcohol and other substances can affect fetal development

• Practical strategies and insights for caregivers, support workers, and community members

Facilitated by Gloria Stewart, Prevention Conversation Facilitator, sessions are delivered in a respectful, shame-free, and supportive environment that encourages meaningful conversation, learning, and awareness.
