| EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR Gwen Vekved With direction from the Governance Board, Gwen provides strategic leadership for the Northwest Peace FASD Network, overseeing the development and coordination of programs and services across the Northwest Region. She works with community partners, service providers, government representatives and stakeholders to strengthen supports for individuals and families affected by FASD. Gwen also represents the region in provincial initiatives, planning and policy discussions, and oversees the Network’s service contracts to ensure accountability and effective delivery service. | OPERATIONS MANAGER Meghan Grzanich This role plays a pivotal role in supporting agency teams by managing reporting and contract commitments, while also providing mentoring and oversight on safety and health for the Northwest Peace team. Additionally, this position is responsible for aiding FASD funded contractors in their quarterly and bi-annual reports. | FASD DIAGNOSTIC CLINIC COORDINATOR Michelle Perron The Clinic Coordinator leads a multi-disciplinary team in ensuring FASD Assessment and Diagnostic Services meet required standards. The mobile clinic serves the entire NW region, with clinics in Peace River, Grande Prairie, Grande Cache, and High Prairie. FASD COMMUNITY RESOURCE ADVOCATE
Lindsay Kelly
This supporting role is vital in providing information, referrals, and access to services for clients diagnosed or suspected of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). She collaborates closely with the Northwest FASD Diagnostic team and supports clients and families throughout the diagnostic process, linking them with community-based support. For inquiries about community resources or services for individuals suspected or diagnosed with FASD, please contact Lindsay. She has extensive knowledge and can effectively connect families with essential resources.

FASD PREVENTION CONVERSATION FACILITATOR

This unique initiative aims to increase FASD awareness and prevention in NW Alberta region. Our new Prevention Facilitator educates frontline workers on various aspects of FASD and participates in the FASD Prevention Conversation. This role engages women about alcohol use during pregnancy in a shame-free manner. This position brings valuable knowledge and a fresh perspective to the NW Peace FASD Network’s efforts in FASD awareness. Contact this role for small or large group learning

FINANCE COORDINATOR

Dawn is the primary finance contact for the Network, supporting the financial operations of funded community agencies and core staff. She assists with financial and contract reporting, provides guidance on submissions and compliance, and is available to answer questions on finance and budgeting, directing you to the appropriate resources needed. Her expertise ensures transparency and accountability in all financial matters.

| INSTRUCTIONAL FASD COACH Currently being filled for Fall 2026 The WRaP 2.0 FASD Coaching Partnership Project is now available to school authorities across Alberta through the Ministry of Disability Policy and Supports and Assisted Living and Social Services, in partnership with the Ministry of Education. This FASD coaching initiative provides school administration teams with current, practical FASD strategies, resources, and coaching techniques to better support students with FASD. The project focuses on building staff confidence and capacity, strengthening FASD-informed approaches within schools, and supporting educators in developing effective strategies that can be integrated into everyday classroom and school practices.
